Belgravium maintains its market share

DATA capture company Belgravium Technologies today revealed that full year profits had risen as it maintained its market share in a tough environment.

The Bradford-based group, which makes hand-held computers that enable companies to check on their stock, revealed that its revenue during 2009 was 8.29m, compared to 8.33m the year before.

Profit before tax increased to 405,000 from 398,000 in 2008.

John Kembery, the chairman of Belgravium, said: "I am pleased to report that Belgravium has met its strategic business objectives whilst delivering a profit in line with market expectations and reduced net debt.

"This is a particularly pleasing outcome given the worldwide loss of financial confidence which has affected all of our markets throughout 2009."
