Beyond Colour’s scheme for ACM

A CREATIVE marketing agency in York has won a “significant” deal with a fast-growing science-based global business.

Beyond Colour, a £250,000 turnover business on the Cliftongate Business Park, has been asked by ACM Global to carry out design, print, PR, marketing, photography and email marketing campaigns over the next two years.

ACM Global is the European outpost of the more than $100m turnover ACM Medical Laboratory Incorporated in Rochester, New York. ACM Global, whose diagnostic tests span most medical disciplines involving human subjects, including pathology, microbiology and cytometry, last month moved out of Clifton Moor and formally opened a larger, purpose-built European base in Hospital Fields Road, York.

It employs 70 people, including data analysts, project managers and quality assurance specialists as well as administrative support staff.

Dave Kirkham, managing director of Beyond Colour, said that linking arms with ACM Global represents a “significant” contract for the business, which has a team of six people.

Mr Kirkham, who owns Beyond Colour, said: “Working with ACM Global means that we are now making our own contribution to York’s reputation as an official Science City – and we are proving that a flatlining economy can be bucked by those with immense skills, whether technical or creative.”

Beyond Colour will be helping to promote ACM Global throughout Europe, South Africa and the Middle East.
