Bikewear firm gears up for growth
SALES are rising at a bikewear manufacturer following a decision to manufacture its latest product in the UK.
A total of £50,000 sales have been achieved in two weeks by Polaris Apparel, Dronfield, North Derbyshire, for a new flight case manufactured from recycled ABS in Chesterfield with support from Yorkshire Bank’s South Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre as part of its Investing for Growth initiative.
Sales of the flight case are set to drive growth this spring for the company, on top of a 50 per cent increase in sales during 2010 after moving into new £1.1m purpose-built office and warehouse premises also funded by Yorkshire Bank.
