BNY Mellon appoints new chief in the North

GLOBAL investment management and investment services company BNY Mellon yesterday announced the appointment of Steve Hayes-Allen as its regional head for Northern Britain.

Mr Hayes-Allen’s career in financial services spans two decades.

He has held a number of senior positions within BNY Mellon over the past 10 years, most recently as head of performance operations for Asset Servicing EMEA, based in Leeds.

As part of his new role, Mr Hayes-Allen will have responsibility for the 110-strong Leeds team based at Whitehall Riverside which provides asset services to clients across Europe.

Mr Hayes-Allen has also become chairman of the new Northern UK regional committee which will, as well as Leeds, include BNY Mellon’s operations in Liverpool, where it employs 220 people and Manchester, where 1,100 employees are based.

Mr Hayes-Allen said: “BNY Mellon’s northern English offices continue to play a crucial role in supporting the organisation’s rapid global expansion.

“BNY Mellon has a strong platform in three key Northern cities and I’ll be working with the excellent senior management teams in each office to move into the next phase.”
