Board shake-up at British Land
British Land has appointed Charles Maudsley to head up its retailproperty business in a boardroom reshuffle it hopes will promotefurther growth in the £5.3bn portfolio.
Mr Maudsley, who currently serves as executive director for business expansion, will also assume responsibility for the group's portfolio of shopping centres including its 50 per cent stake in Meadowhall.
His appointment comes one month after the official departure date of former retail head Andrew Jones, who last year resigned from British Land with two other members to pursue new ventures. Ben Grose, who has been with British Land since 2005, has been appointed head of retail asset management.
