Business park seeks to grow development after access built

HUNDREDS of new jobs could be created with the launch of a new business park in West Yorkshire.

Bronte Business Park in Thornton will provide some 16.5 acres of employment land, suitable for up to 280,000 sq ft of warehouse, factory and office space.

Owner DS Development has already secured detailed planning consent for employment on part of the site. It is now looking to bring forward the remainder of the site for development once a new access from Thornton Road has been completed.

The proposed buildings will provide accommodation for both small and medium enterprises and large businesses.

The site is being marketed by Eddisons Commercial and Gent Visick. Andrew Gent, of Gent Visick, said: “There are few development opportunities within the Bradford District.

“The Bronte Business Park represents an excellent opportunity for local companies to secure much-needed accommodation whilst also channelling investment into the area.”

Jonathan O’Connor, of Eddisons, added: “The advertising board has only been up for a week or so and we have already received an influx of enquiries from companies interested in units at this location.”
