Business takes flight as Kite expands

KITE Packaging Group has relocated its Northern branch from Sheffield to Rotherham after investing £1.5m in a new site.

This move by the packaging supplier means its Northern branch has expanded from 20,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft. The new site includes a fully enclosed yard and further room for stock holding in an effort to improve service and delivery for Kite Packaging’s customers based in the North of England.

The building was built in July and has been fully fitted with office space, a staff canteen and a four-door warehouse. Kite has also invested £80,000 recently in its transport division in the North, increasing its own truck fleet from three to four.
