Care group to create 45 new jobs

HOME Instead Senior Care, which provides care services for elderly people in their own homes, plans to create 45 carer jobs by the end of the year in the Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk areas.

The team at the Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk has just celebrated its third year in business. The franchise currently employs around 50 carers. The recruitment plans for the area are to “cope with demand” for the branch’s services.

Sheena Van Parys, owner of the franchise in Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk, said: “It has been a very exciting three years for us, and thanks to my fantastic team and Home Instead’s innovative approach to delivering at-home care services; demand for our services continues to be very high.”

She added: “After three years I feel we are now a well-established business in the Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk areas and I’m extremely proud of our reputation in the local community, which has allowed us to provide care to a growing number of clients.

“As a result we’re looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team who are interested in a rewarding and extremely flexible career. We offer full training so experience is not necessary but people may have had personal experience such as looking after a loved one.”
