Several staff have taken on new roles to help deliver the new services which aim to help the chamber to continue to attract businesses throughout York and North Yorkshire.

Among those changing roles are Sarah Welsh and Hannah Bairstow, who are promoted from events co-ordinators to events managers; Jade Daniel, who has completed an apprenticeship and become a trainee finance executive, and Dawn Dobson, who moves from account manager to sales manager.

The Head of York and North Yorkshire Chamber, Susie Cawood, who is taking on a wider lobbying and representational role, says: “We’re delighted to unveil these new recruits and services which are part of York and North Yorkshire Chamber growing in sophistication as well as size.”
