The initiative will take place throughout the Rio Games, which kicked off over the weekend and will continue until August 21.

The firm said that as well as encouraging some healthy competition at work, it will be raising funds for its national charity partner, Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.

The partnership was launched earlier this year to recognise their mutual goals to support young people facing disadvantage into sustainable employment.

A pilot initiative is under way in Leeds to work with participants at the end of the Trust’s local programme as they seek to transition into work.

Nicholas Associates Group‘s CEO Lisa Gainsford, said: “This is a wonderful and fun opportunity for our staff, clients and candidates to embrace the spirit of sporting competition, whilst supporting our national charity partner, Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.

“We are proud and privileged to work with Dame Kelly Holmes Trust as a trusted partner in their aim to transform the lives of young people facing disadvantage. Raising funds and awareness for the Trust is an important part of our support work. Their ethos and values absolutely align to our own purpose, which is to enable people to be their best.”
