Cloud has a silver lining for IT chief
COLIN Meakin has been appointed chief executive of Liquid Accounts, a developer of online cloud accounting software for the small to medium-sized enterprise market.
Mr Meakin has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry and joins from Concorde Excel Holdings where he led the consortium that raised £1.8m for the firm’s acquisition.
Richard Doyle, chair at Liquid Accounts, said: “We are at an important phase of the development for Liquid Accounts; Colin’s background and experience will help us grow the business and source the right growth funding options.”
Liquid Accounts, which is based in Huddersfield, was formed in 2005.
