Communisis acquires a stake in The Garden Marketing

MARKETING services firm Communisis has acquired a 49 per cent equity stake in The Garden Marketing in a £400,000 deal.

The Leeds-based company said today it had the option to acquire the remaining 51 per cent for about £600,000.

TGML, a full service integrated marketing agency based in London, was founded in 1987 and generates annual revenues in the region of £1m.

Graham Lee, managing director of TGML said: “We are delighted to become an associate company of Communisis and look forward to developing a progressively closer relationship. TGML specialises in marketing communications for financial services and technology clients.

Communisis’ investment in TGML extends the group’s creative services offering, adding further strategic planning expertise, conceptual creative services, copywriting and additional artworking resources to its proposition, said the firm.

Communisis also said today that trading since its interim management statement was released at the start of May has been “encouraging, with a continuing strong pipeline of business development opportunities”.
