Communisis delivers rising profits

LEEDS-based marketing specialist Communisis today revealed that its profits had risen as it pursues strategies to grow the business.

In the six months ended June 30 2011, the company’s operating profit before exceptional items increased by 27 per cent to £3.6m.

“We are making good progress against our plans to grow and transform the business and this confidence is reflected in an increase in the interim dividend. Our aim remains to improve profitability, as measured by the margin of operating profit on sales, so as to achieve double digit returns over the medium term.”
