Communisis extends presence in key markets with new deals

Communisis, the marketing services firm, has announced two new long-term contracts which it says extends its presence in key target markets.

The Leeds-based business has been reappointed by The Post Office to source and provide IT and stationary to its network of 11,500 branches.

It has also entered an exclusive partnership with government outsourcing firm Liberata to produce statement and billing services for local authority clients in a deal worth 2m a year.

Communisis said both agreements will run for five years. The company has separately secured a contract extension with Barclays until 2015.

In a statement, Communisis said full-year trading was in line with management expectations. It said restructuring plans are on schedule to reap the expected financial benefits.
