In an update yesterday, Communisis said recent trading has been “encouraging”, with a strong pipeline of business development opportunities.

As a result, the group expects its results for the half year to remain unchanged.

Communisis will report interim results for the six months to June 30 on July 26.

The group said TGML generates annual revenues of £1.0m and specialises in creating marketing communications for financial services and technology customers.

It produces both print and digital marketing as well as advertising and direct mail campaigns for both consumer and business-to-business clients.

Communisis said the investment in TGML will extend the group’s creative services offering, adding strategic planning expertise, conceptual creative services, copywriting and additional artworking resources.

Communisis is keen to expand the creative services it offers customers.

It said the deal will also provide a significant new customer relationship with a major blue-chip financial services provider.
