Chief executive of Forward Ladies to take centre stage at The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards

ONE of the region’s most respected business figures will take centre stage at The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business awards.

Griselda Togobo is the CEO of Forward Ladies, a Yorkshire-based global platform that connects women to the opportunities, networks, businesses and expertise that empowers them.

Ms Togobo, who began her career as an electrical engineer, will talk about the need to encourage diversity in leadership positions when she is interviewed by Greg Wright, The Yorkshire Post’s Deputy Business Editor, in a recorded interview which will be broadcast during the ceremony.

Mr Wright said: “Griselda is passionate about creating innovative events and programmes designed to help women achieve their aspirations.”

The legendary BBC TV presenter Harry Gration will be the host at our glittering awards ceremony which honours Yorkshire’s world class business leaders.

Mr Gration will be the Master of Ceremonies at The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business awards.

The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business awards will take place on Wednesday November 4 through a digitally streamed event.

Despite the pandemic, this year’s awards attracted more than 180 high quality entries from across the county.

The shortlist was drawn up over a four hour judging session, which was chaired by Greg Wright, The Yorkshire Post’s deputy business editor.
