Corporate finance specialist’s new role

Jo Haigh, who has over 25 years’ experience in the corporate finance sector and has written several business books, specialises in raising finance, acquisitions, divestments, providing non-executive support and advising on shareholders’ disputes.

She will work with Clough & Company’s managing partner, Nigel Bullas, to further develop the department. The appointment comes as part of the acquisition of the corporate finance division of London-based accountancy firm MGR. She said: “The company’s experienced team provides a safe pair of hands to guide businesses and individuals through sales, mergers, acquisitions, buyouts and much more.”

Ms Haigh was the first woman to gain the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ corporate finance qualification. She will be based at Clough & Company’s head office in Cleckheaton and other offices in London and the Midlands.
