Yorkshire lawyers have advised the world’s largest industrial battery manufacturer on its acquisition of a UK-based competitor which supplies the Ministry of Defence.
The Leeds office of Cobbetts, led by corporate partner David Armitage and supported by corporate partner Daniel O’Gorman and corporate solicitor Rob MacAdam, advised US-based EnerSys on its acquisition of ABSL Power Solutions.
Mr Armitage said: “We are delighted to have advised EnerSys on this acquisition, which will complement the firm’s existing product range, but will also provide a platform for growth in new industry sectors, including the Lithium-ion reserve power market.”
