Deloitte appoints five new partners to top team

BUSINESS advisory firm Deloitte has appointed five new partners to its senior team at its Leeds office.

They are Julian Hunt, of enterprise risk services, Stuart Savage, of indirect tax, Helen Kaye, of global employment services tax, Clare Boardman, of restructuring services, and Andrew Coticelli, of corporate tax. Deloitte’s Leeds office now has 36 partners and a total of 550 staff across the Yorkshire and North East practice.

Meanwhile, PwC has announced the promotion of three partners and five directors in Yorkshire. Will Richardson, leads the forensic services team across the North, Dan Stott, leads the firm’s regional financial decisions and analysis team, and Andy Ward, who is taking on the role of managing partner for the Sheffield office, have joined the partnership.

Tom Yeates, in assurance, Andy Ross, in the advisory practice, Lee Stamp, in tax, Iwan Griffiths, in financial services, and Pete Adams, who specialises in the consumer manufacturing, chemical processing and construction sectors, have been promoted as directors.

Accountancy firm RSM Tenon has appointed five new regional heads to lead on the financial management service line across the UK. Vinodh Josh, who has been with RSM Tenon for more than 11 years, will be head of North, which will include offices in Chorley, Leeds, Manchester, Rochdale, Stoke and Sunderland.

Estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley is strengthening its North East Leeds presence after taking on David Robinson, who has more than 28 years of estate agency experience, as a personal agent to handle property sales in Roundhay, Oakwood, Shadwell, Alwoodley and Moortown.

Nick Abram has been appointed by Landwood Group to join its newly formed Yorkshire operation. He is experienced in asset valuation and recovery and his role will be to help establish the company in the North East and Yorkshire.

Landwood recently set up a base in Leeds. It provides due diligence advice and valuations for both lending purposes and for corporate restructuring and insolvency.
