An innovative partnership between The Yorkshire Post and Leeds Metropolitan University is inviting the region’s entrepreneurs to join its ranks.

Leeds Digital Hub provides access to premium business and mentoring services, prime city centre flexible workspace and peer collaboration opportunities.

The scheme is currently home to businesses including Immedia, phase90, Snowball Digital, The Capture Lab and Beanify.

Leeds Digital Hub is the latest initiative backed by QU2, which has supported more than 600 digital start-ups since launching in 2002. As a result of its work, more than 1,300 jobs have been created, while the firms have seen combined turnover of £43m.

The university has also established its New Technology Institute, which offers industry-led professional development courses for digital technologies.

Prospective Hub tenants have until September 30 to submit their applications. A Dragons Den-style panel will be held on October 7, with top business representatives assessing applicants.
