Documented success for new chief executive

CORPORATE Document Services, the Leeds-based corporate communications and publishing company, has appointed a new chief executive.

Fergus Bailie, a chartered accountant who joined the business as commercial director in 2006, replaces Ian Southall, who is moving to a strategic development role for the parent company, The Baird Group.

Mr Bailie said: "It's with a huge sense of pride that I take over as chief executive. I am extremely excited about the challenges that lie ahead in 2011 and beyond."

CDS has four business areas – internet, creative, print and defence support – and has a turnover of 27m.

Clients include the London 2012 Olympic Games, Ministry of Defence, Highways Agency, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, UK Commission for Employment and Skills and numerous Local Authorities across the UK.

It employs 200 people.
