Dow Schofield names new finance director

He will work alongside former Deloitte corporate finance partner, Roger Esler, who heads up the team.

Mr Rowley, a Leeds University graduate and chartered accountant has joined the independent advisory business from Zeus Capital in Manchester where he had been a director for the last five years.

Previously, he had been a corporate finance director at Deloitte, working in both London and Sydney.

Mr Esler said: “We are delighted that Tom has joined our growing team, bringing a wealth of complementary experience and demonstrating our ambition to grow our business in the Yorkshire & North East region.”

Meanwhile, IT consultancy firm ITWiser, which is a division of accountancy firm Clough & Company, has appointed Thomas Downes as an IT apprentice.

In his new role, he will support the team in assisting clients in solving technical related problems that come through the firm’s helpdesk.
