Drax to test drive electric cars

Drax has bought two of the new generation of all-electric cars as part of a trial to see if they can replace existing pool cars.

The project is part of the aim to reduce North Yorkshire-based Drax’s carbon footprint from non-power generating activities.

The trial will also enable employees to test out the commuting capabilities of the electric car, as a week’s use of the car will be awarded to top-performing employees.
