Eagle flying high on anniversary

The Bradford-based firm was originally set up in 1995 by physicist Dr Roger Poultney to provide scientific information services to the international high energy physics community but quickly diversified.

It has now developed a special interest in local tourism through the development of its Yorkshire tourist information websites.

Dr Poultney said: "Looking back quite a lot has changed since the company launched – particularly regarding the internet. At the start I can remember having to explain to some clients what the internet was, but things have obviously come on a long way since then.

"We've seen various fads come and go, but one thing that has remained consistent throughout has been the continuing importance of search engine marketing and link building as cost effective means of bringing in visitors to any particular client's website."
