Elemental extension for Surgical
Worth £5m over the period and tied to minimum contracted volumes, it will grant Elemental continued exclusive distribution rights to Leeds-based Surgical’s entire product portfolio within Great Britain.
Surgical’s chief executive Graham Bowland said: “We are very pleased to reinforce our relationship with Elemental and Britain is an important market for us where our resposable products offer the NHS significant cost savings over expensive disposable instruments.”

Hide AdSurgical’s resposable instruments have both reusable and disposable parts.
Mr Bowland said a recent study by Elemental showed that hospitals that switched from disposable to resposable saved over £100,000 on 500 procedures and produced less clinical waste.
