Elevator firm acquired by KONE
A Yorkshire-based business, specialising in the maintenance, repair, modernisation and installation of elevators, has been acquired by leading player in the industry, KONE.
KONE which has it’s regional offices in Keighley has acquired Express Elevators, who are located near the offices. Express currently has over 2,000 elevators in service and employs approximately one hundred people.
Michael Williams, KONE Great Britain managing director, said: “The acquisition of Express will assist KONE to consolidate and expand in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions in the future.
