Entrepreneur invites Zest to the tea party

IT company Zest Solutions has won a contract to put a modern twist on tea and cake by entrepreneur Tracey Bovington as she launches her tea drinking venues, Tea Monkey, across the country.

Tea Monkey presented the Garforth-based IT firm with a brief which required a solution to the idea of creating a venue enabling customers to access the latest technology through free wi-fi and use of iPads.

Zest improved the IT infrastructure at the Milton Keynes flagship store, looking at everything from the telephone system, cabling, broadband and all IT hardware, as well as the facility to allow customers to log in and see daily specials and tea events via real-time live view cameras.

Tracey Bovingdon, managing director of Tea Monkey, said: “We wanted an altogether different offering and Zest really helped us to lay the technological foundations which will support the business and the customer experience as we expand and develop throughout the UK.”

Michael Sheehan, managing director of Zest Solutions, said: “We knew straight away what Tracey was looking to achieve. The customer experience is the tip of the iceberg and we really had to work hard to make sure everything under the surface supported that goal and the future development of the business.”

Zest, which had a turnover of £650,000 last year and has a head count of 12, will be supporting the company as it rolls out its tea drinking venues in London, Bath, Liverpool and Birmingham. Zest has also recently won a contract with the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce to provide its mobile phone contract. This includes new HTC handsets and iPads through the provider Vodafone.

Zest Solutions Group provides IT services and support to businesses who rely on the use of technology to enhance and assist their day-to-day business offering and development.
