Entrepreneur in restaurant launch

A YORKSHIRE entrepreneur who has been serving Pakistani food for 37 years launched a new business venture last night.

Max Kiani has re-launched Raies Restaurant & Cafe bar in Roundhay Road, in Leeds, at a time when consumer spending is expected to rise as the UK economy starts to recover.

A company spokesman said that the takings from last night’s launch event would be donated to help support cancer research which is being carried out at St James’s Hospital in Leeds.

Mr Kiani founded Raes restaurant in Roundhay in 1976.
