Epiphany’s mission to put appeal out in front

The Jane Tomlinson Appeal has appointed a marketing agency to achieve its goal of dominating internet search results relating to running events.

Leeds-based marketing agency Epiphany Solutions will also build a social media strategy on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs in order to put the charity in the forefront of the minds of the running community and build a loyal support base. The charity, formed by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE, has raised more than £3m to date for charities both locally and nationally, including Martin House Hospice and Yorkshire Cancer Research.

The 10K Run for All series in Hull, Leeds and York, is backed by the Yorkshire Post as media partner

Epiphany has already embarked upon the research phase of the campaign,

Managing director Rob Shaw said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Run For All and The Jane Tomlinson Appeal to generate a winning search campaign.

“Not only because they’re a great charity doing astounding things, but because their ethos fits with our brand and also because there are lots of sporting enthusiasts here at Epiphany,

“After the initial review, our talented team will implement their strategies to ensure success in both rankings and traffic.”

For the first time, Epiphany will be joining around 600 other corporates to take on the challenge of being the fastest team in this year’s Clarion Leeds 10K corporate challenge.

Mike Tomlinson said: “We selected Epiphany based on their reputation in the industry and we liked the fact that they’re head office is locally based.

“I’m looking forward to seeing our charity and its site raise greater awareness, in the hope that we can increase both participation and knowledge.”
