Facebook speaker to meet the Mafia
The Yorkshire Mafia Conference has confirmed that Ivan Heneghan, from Facebook’s strategic client services team, will speak at its two-day business event, which will take place on March 21 and 22 at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Mr Heneghan will provide an insight into how businesses can connect and engage with their customers using Facebook.

Hide AdHe will deliver a speech and participate in an open question and answer session with the delegates.
Mr Heneghan said: “At Facebook we believe that businesses are better in a connected world.
“Our mission is to connect the 800 million people on Facebook with the things that they care about and we are building the social technology to help brands to come together and engage with their fans.
“We’ll share why and how businesses can benefit by building essential connections with the members and businesses represented by the Yorkshire Mafia.”

Mr Heneghan is a regular speaker at conferences around Europe.

The panel event – called Hey Big Spenders – features leading UK procurement specialists, together representing an annual spend of £11bn, who will tell delegates how to go about winning valuable contracts. The panel includes senior representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions, engineering giant Siemens, electronics group Thales, the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation, the Buying Team outsourcing group and Shirley Cooper, past president of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
