Facilities attract top tenants to Leeds Digital Hub

LEEDS DIGITAL HUB, The Yorkshire Post’s innovative scheme for start-ups, continues to grow despite tough competition elsewhere in the city.

The Hub, run in partnership with Leeds Beckett University QU2, offers small businesses working in digital and creative industries access to premium workspace.

QU2 business administrator Georgia Hudson said the scheme’s “comprehensive facilities” have been a winner for tenants. For just £100 per month plus VAT for three months, tenants can base themselves at prestigious office development No1 Leeds.

Ms Hudson said QU2 has received “great feedback” on its professional services scheme.

The mentorship of entrepreneur Steve Baker has been particularly valued. “A lot of people have said Steve’s made them really think through their ideas and how to move forward,” she said.

As well as modern workspace, the hub provides access to top technology, with iMacs installed on the network. Tenants also have access to the building’s amenities, including a canteen and showers.

Applications are open, with QU2 eager to bring more top talent into the centre. “We’re not property managers - we want to make start-up businesses work,” sMs Hudson said.
