Fairway to pro-am success
A YORKSHIRE event marketing firm has described its celebrity pro-am golf tournament as the best in its history.
XSEM, based in Leeds, organised the charity tournament for Speedy, the Merseyside-based provider of construction equipment, rental and support services. Former Ryder Cup captain Mark James was accompanied by Gordon Brand and Christy O’Connor for the Speedy Hire Senior Pro-am, which attracted 100 players. The event, which raised £10,000 for Cystic Fibrosis, was held at Wentworth in Surrey.
