Fire brigades deal renewed for Cosalt

The Grimsby firm already supplies structural fire fighting and rescue kit to the majority of UK brigades and under the new PPE framework agreement firefighters from around the North West will be wearing the same new kit by the end of the year.

Cosalt also said it won a two year 250,000 contract with Hanson, the UK's leading supplier of heavy building materials for the construction industry, to supply hi-vis workwear for the quarry products division.

Andrew Richards, managing director, of Cosalt Marine Division said: "Securing both these contracts reflects our experience in these markets and also our ability to draw upon technology developed for one specific industry and apply it more widely, as was the case with the new firefighting kit, developed to meet the challenges today's firefighters face."

Mr Richards said they were "looking forward" to announcing more contract wins.
