Foundation wins account for Great Yorkshire

A Yorkshire-based marketing company has won the account to promote England's premier agricultural event for 2011 – the Great Yorkshire Show.

Foundation, based in Ilkley, came out top after the three-way

competitive pitch for the creative and design brief for the show, which attracts around 130,000 visitors over its three days and this year featured Supreme Beef Champion Romany 1 Captain, pictured with show manager Keith Jempson.

The champion beast was owned by Aileen Nesbitt, of Nesbitt Farms Hungerford.

Foundation's managing director Sandi Haythornthwaite said: "I've been coming to the Great Yorkshire Show since I was a child, and to be part of it four decades later is very special."
