Funding for firm that helps others recover

Castleford-based FSH Maintenance has expanded across the north of England thanks to a £600,000 funding package from NatWest.

The business has taken on new premises in Newcastle and Hull and aims to expand its geographical reach across the North West.

Its sales have increased from £2m to £8m in the last three years.

FSH Maintenance specialises in the repair and refurbishment of homes and businesses which have been damaged by fires and floods.

Ian Wood, the managing director of FSH Maintenance, said: “The extension of our blueprint allows us to expand our business aspirations further afield and offer our services to a wider client base. We are confident that we can continue to attract new business through our newly established network.”

Jon Hughes, relationship director at NatWest Commercial Banking, said: “The business is a great example of a successful Yorkshire firm who have not only survived the downturn but come out even stronger.”
