Getting down to business of digital

More than 200 business leaders are expected to attend a Yorkshire event which will analyse the economic benefits of digital technology.

The Business of Digital, the fourth in the series of Marketing Leeds's "thought-leadership" events, will take place during Leeds Digital Festival on Thursday, November 11.

Marketing Leeds has brought together a panel of experts to encourage debate about the impact of digital technology.

The digital sector has become one of the fastest growing parts of Yorkshire's economy.

The event features Chinese entrepreneur, Buddy Ye, the co-founder of WangYou.com, one of the first and largest social networking companies in China.

Other members of the expert panel include Amanda Brown, First Direct's head of public relations; Kieran Matthews, marketing director of the Internet Advertising Bureau, and Daniel Pollick, head of IT for global law firm DLA Piper.
