Global businesses aim to connect with Yorkshire firms

THE Enterprise Europe Network, created by the European Commission, provides free support to Yorkshire & Humber companies wishing to make the most of the European marketplace.

The network can help you develop your business in new markets, source or license new

technologies and access EU funding. The initiative covers more than 50 countries. In partnership with The Yorkshire Post, Enterprise Europe is providing a regular list of opportunities for Yorkshire companies through a new column. Here is this week’s selection:

A Slovenian SME has developed an indoor moisture eliminating device which leads to the reduction of humidity in buildings. The system uses technology based on electro-osmosis and reduces or eliminates capillary moisture, by emitting an electro-magnetic impulses that cause water to recede from the walls. A commercial agreement with technical assistance or joint venture is sought.

A French SME specialising in cosmetics is looking for a laboratory or SME that will be able

to manufacture its products.

A Chinese company is looking for an overseas advanced printing technology research and development centre or company for future cooperation on technology transfer and project incubation. The centre or company should have advanced technologies.

A Russian company has developed an electrochemical supercapacitor that makes use of highly-porous materials on various forms of carbon. The company is looking for licensing agreements, research and technical cooperation.

A Czech university has designed and constructed a special camera system for continuous

quality control of extruded polymeric fibres with hollow or full profile. The university is

looking for a partner interested in license agreement.
