Great Rail Journeys stays put as premises change hands

THE office of holiday company Great Rail Journeys has been sold in a £2.85m deal.

Saviour House, a 24,904 sq ft modern office building in York city centre, was sold by NFU Mutual to Highcross. Great Rail Journeys recently signed a lease for 12,800sq ft over the basement, ground and first floors. Highcross plans to refurbish and relet the remaining floors.

CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) advised NFU Mutual and Dixon Wimbush advised Highcross. Robin Bullas, of CBRE, said: “Due to York’s historic nature, there isn’t a traditional office core as such.

“Therefore, strategically positioned buildings within the centre, particularly those with parking provision such as Saviour House, will always present an attractive option to both tenants and investors.”
