Great Xscape as hotdog firm expands

GOURMET hotdog company Primo’s is opening a second branch in Yorkshire.

Primo’s Gourmet Hotdogs, which was established in Leeds in 2010, and has a shop in the Corn Exchange, is establishing a second site at leisure complex Xscape Yorkshire, at Castleford.

Nick Julian, owner of Primo’s Gourmet Hotdogs, said: “We are delighted to be expanding to Xscape, and taking our hotdogs further into Yorkshire and outside of Leeds. After two years of satisfying the appetites of hungry shoppers in Leeds, it is great to be competing with some of the biggest names in fast food at one of the busiest leisure centres in the county.”

Mr Julian hopes that the Xscape expansion paves the way for the opening of other branches. He is also hoping to employ apprentices at the new Xscape shop.

The new branch incorporates a counter based service and features some new additions to the menu. Primo’s says its commitment to using high quality, fresh ingredients and providing an “out-of-the-ordinary” menu sets it apart from its competitors.
