GRI's chemical reaction after buying Libra
Sheffield-based chemicals manufacturer and distributor GRI Group has bought Libra Chemicals for an undisclosed sum.
Libra Chemicals, which is based in Manchester, is a manufacturer and distributor of speciality chemicals for industrial, personal care and household care applications.
Graham Royle, the chairman and chief executive of GRI Group, said: "Libra is renowned for its quality and service and is a fantastic strategic fit with the rest of our group companies. There is virtually no product overlap and the combined range offers superb synergy across the customer base and global geographical markets that we cover."
Libra has 31 employees and a turnover of 13m. Sheffield based advisers from law firm Hill Dickinson and accountants Hart Shaw acted on behalf of GRI Group.
