GSPK brings on board two graduates to meet demand

GSPK Designs, which is based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, has taken on two graduates to help deal with its increasing workload, and bring new skills to its existing team of 12. It has a turnover of around £1.3m. The new recruits are Joe Hodge, an electronic design engineer, and Tim Chamberlin, who will be the firm’s first industrial design engineer.

Managing director Paul Marsh said: “We have had several new contracts and there are more jobs in the pipeline, so we needed more people to ensure we can keep delivering the best possible service to our clients. Bringing two recent graduates on board means we have fresh ideas and the latest knowledge. We believe that adding that to our existing team’s experience sets us apart from the competition and means we can offer exactly what our customers need.”

Mr Hodge was recruited after completing his engineering degree at the University of York.
