Health sector investment is vital for growth
The team behind a major investment readiness programmes is urging political and business leaders to keep investing in healthcare.
Lisa Ward, manager of the Investing in Health programme which helps healthcare companies in the region to improve their chances of investment, said that the sector is vital to the growth of the local economy.
She added: "We urge the LEPs (Local Enterprise Partnerships) and council leaders to continue supporting the healthcare and life science sectors in the region.
