Healthcare software firm in Leeds to weather coronavirus uncertainties

Healthcare software provider EMIS Group said it is well positioned to weather the short-term market uncertainties created by coronavirus as it revealed a rise in revenue for 2019.

Total revenue was up 7 per cent to £159.5m from £149.7m for the year ended December 31, 2019. While adjusted operating profit was up 9 per cent to £39.3m at the Leeds-based group.

“EMIS Group has a robust business model, with 78 per cent recurring revenue and a strong balance sheet, and is well positioned to weather the short-term market uncertainties created by coronavirus. We have no delivery risks associated with our recurring revenue.
