IBM director to share ideas at university

A director from IBM will give an insight into the company’s success in transforming its business model at an event next month.

Brendan Dineen, director of demand programmes for UK and Ireland, will speak at Hull University Business School at 6.30pm on November 9.

IBM moved away from the production of computer hardware and software which made its name – International Business Machines – to offer specialised business services and thought leadership.

The presentation will be introduced by Dr Jim Grieves, lecturer in organisational analysis, change, learning and behaviour, and will feature a question and answer session.
