IDS on a success drive after AA takeover

CUSTOMER service is at the heart of what Intelligent Data Systems does, said its directors.

Mike Routledge, sales and marketing director, said IDS has never lost a customer since it started trading in 2005. It has only lost customers through resellers.

Currently, 73 per cent of customers come through IDS and 27 per cent through resellers, said Mr Routledge, adding: “Through reseller partners we do get interest from areas we wouldn’t normally expect, for example pre-employment screening companies.”

IDS has just over 630 customers, the majority are blue chips and publicly listed companies. Its client base includes Eddie Stobart, Cadbury, Centrica and HSBC.
