Indigo director quits to launch northern office for leading London agency
Tim Waring has left Indigo Planning to launch Quod North in Leeds, the company’s first office outside the capital.
Mr Waring was a board director at Indigo and responsible for leading planning projects for major retailers, householders, national and regional development companies and financial institutions.

Hide AdHe has acted for clients including Hammerson, Threadneedle, British Land, Aviva, Land Securities and IKEA. Mr Waring has been advising the Swedish retail giant on plans to develop a store in Sheffield. He has also advised Yorkshire firms including Evans of Leeds, Sterling Capitol, Town Centre Securities and Wykeland.
Mr Waring said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Quod to build a strong presence in the North of England on the back of a property market which is showing strong signs of sustainable recovery.”
Quod is acting for Land Securities on its proposed expansion of the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds. It is also assisting proposals to develop a potash mine between Whitby and Scarborough in North Yorkshire and Quod is advising GlaxoSmithKline on proposals for a new pharmaceutical development at Ulverston in Cumbria.
Peter Hall and Hannah Smith are joining Quod North from Indigo Planning.

Quod was founded in London in 2010 and has 60 employees. The company advises on a broad range of development projects, including infrastructure, commercial, housing and retail.
London projects include residential developments at Battersea power station and Chelsea Barracks.
