Industrial estate lettings set to create new posts

JOBS are expected to be created in West Yorkshire following the completion of two large property deals.

The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank has secured the lettings at the Lowfields Industrial Estate in Elland, West Yorkshire. Knight Frank has completed the letting of a 30,000 sq ft industrial warehouse to national pallet distributers ADD Express, on behalf of Citivale Asset Management.

The property is held in a fund managed by Henderson Global Investors.

Knight Frank has also let a 32,000 sq ft shed to Radicon Transmission UK on behalf of owners C and V Lloyd Property Partnerships.

Tom Lamb, of Knight Frank’s Leeds office, said: “The Radicon Transmission deal was instrumental in Knight Frank achieving new instructions through Henderson Global Investors and Citi- vale.”

Mr Lamb said these deals were excellent news for the local economy.

He added: “Lowfields is a tremendous success story.

“The rents are holding up exceptionally well in comparison to other industrial estates in West Yorkshire, underlining the quality of the units on site.”
