Initiative to help over 50s realise their dreams
LEEDS businessman Carl Hopkins is supporting a new initiative to help the over 50s in Yorkshire set up their own businesses.
The ‘Preparing to Run Your Own Business’ course has been launched in Leeds by national charity, The Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise, which offers over 50s affected by redundancy or unemployment support in turning their business dream into a reality.
Mr Hopkins is a former star of Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire. “Programmes which help business creation and skills development are a vital part of increasing the economic prosperity of Yorkshire,” he said.
