Nursing, social and homecare agency Local Care Force, has bolstered its team with the appointment of Helen Goldsmith as lead clinical nurse.

The firm has offices in Leeds and Sheffield and over 250 nurses on its books. She was previously senior staff nurse in older people’s services for the NHS.

Janet Wood has been appointed as financial controller at Czajka Care Group, which operates five nursing homes in West Yorkshire and provides home and domiciliary care to hundreds of people across the region.

She is responsible for producing the Bradford-based firm’s management accounts and overseeing the company’s finance team.

She previously held a similar position at a South Yorkshire based healthcare operator.
