Investec launches investment banking service for North of England
The South African-owned bank has appointed Dan Sheahan from accountancy firm PwC to lead its activities in the region. He will be based in Leeds.

Investec has completed 12 sole bookrunner IPOs in the last two years including Bonmarché, Servelec and SCS.
It has advised on 68 UK mergers and activities transactions worth £13.7bn over the past three years, including 21 public takeovers.
